Shea Theodore Autographs
Born on August 3, 1995, in British Columbia, Shea Theodore is a professional ice hockey defenseman who currently plays for the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played his junior ice hockey for the Seattle Thunderbirds of the Western Hockey League (WHL) from 2010 to 2015. During those five seasons, Theodore was one of the most productive offensive defenseman in WHL history. He recorded 212 points (53 goals, 159 assists) in 257 career games.
In 2013, Shea was picked 26th overall by the Anaheim Ducks in the NHL Entry Draft, and he made his professional debut for the Norfolk Admirals of the American Hockey League (AHL) in the 2014-15 season. He was called up to the NHL late in the season and made his debut for the Anaheim Ducks on March 16, 2015. After playing for the Ducks for several seasons, he was traded to the Vegas Golden Knights in 2017. Theodore emerged as one of the key players for the expansion team and helped them reach the 2018 Stanley Cup Final in their inaugural season. In the 2019-20 NHL season, he had a career-high 46 points (13 goals, 33 assists) in 71 games.
Off the ice, Shea Theodore is known for his philanthropic work, especially in supporting cancer research. He started the #CancerSucks initiative in honor of his late grandmother, who died from breast cancer. Through the initiative, Theodore raises funds and awareness about different types of cancer and works with organizations promoting cancer research. He also created the Shea Theodore Fund with the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation to support local organizations that aid cancer patients and their families.
