After completing his studies in the U.S. at the University of Notre Dame, Bowman began his hockey career as a scout for the Minnesota Wild before joining the Chicago Blackhawks as Director of Hockey Operations in 2001. He was instrumental in helping the Blackhawks win three Stanley Cup championships in 2010, 2013, and 2015, earning him widespread recognition as one of the best hockey executives in the NHL.
