Ted Lindsay Autographs

Ted LindsayTed Lindsay was a professional ice hockey player who played as a winger in the National Hockey League (NHL) for seventeen seasons. He was born on July 29, 1925, in Renfrew, Ontario. He began his hockey career with the Detroit Red Wings in 1944 and played with them for thirteen seasons. Lindsay was known for his physical game and was an outstanding scorer, earning the nickname "Terrible Ted."
Lindsay's career statistics were impressive, with 851 points in 1,068 regular-season games, including 379 goals and 472 assists. Lindsay was a key player in the Detroit Red Wings' Stanley Cup championship teams of 1950, 1952, 1954, and 1955. He was also named to the NHL First All-Star Team eight times and was the league's second-leading scorer three times.
In addition to his on-ice achievements, Lindsay was also a founding member of the NHL Players' Association (NHLPA) and served as its first president. He was committed to player rights and fought for better labor conditions for NHL players. Lindsay's dedication to the sport and his legacy as a fierce competitor and champion have earned him a place in the Hockey Hall of Fame.
