Todd McLellan Autographs
Todd McLellan is a former professional ice hockey player and coach who was born on October 3, 1967, in Melville, Saskatchewan, Canada. McLellan began his hockey career by playing for the Saskatoon Blades in the Western Hockey League, where he played for three seasons from 1984 to 1987. He accumulated a total of 126 goals and 270 points in 204 games during his time with the Blades. In 1987, he was selected by the New York Islanders in the fifth round of the NHL Entry Draft.
McLellan played professional hockey for seven seasons, during which he played in both North America and Europe. He spent the majority of his playing career in the International Hockey League with the Cleveland Lumberjacks, where he served as team captain from 1992 to 1994. McLellan played a total of 173 games in the IHL, scoring 44 goals and 125 points in the process. After retiring from playing professional hockey in 1997, McLellan began his coaching career in the IHL with the Cleveland Lumberjacks.
McLellan went on to coach at the AHL, NHL, and international levels throughout his career, including serving as the head coach for the San Jose Sharks and the Edmonton Oilers. He achieved significant success throughout his coaching career, including being named the head coach for the Western Conference All-Star team in 2009 and 2012. McLellan’s successful hockey career has earned him a reputation as one of the most respected and knowledgeable coaches in the sport.
