Tom Poti Autographs
Tom Poti was born on March 22, 1977, in Worcester, Massachusetts. He began honing his skills on the ice at a young age, playing for his high school team, and eventually moving on to play for Boston University. While at BU, Poti was named to the All-Hockey East Second Team and helped lead the Terriers to the 1997 Hockey East title. He was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in 1996 and began his professional hockey career with them in 1998.
Poti played for seven different teams during his 14-year NHL career, including the Edmonton Oilers, New York Rangers, and the Washington Capitals. He was known for his offensive skills and his impressive skating ability. Over the course of his career, he recorded 69 goals and 258 assists, and was a dependable defenseman. He also played in the 2006 and 2010 Winter Olympics for Team USA.
In addition to his professional career, Poti is also involved in youth hockey development, running camps and clinics for young players. He has also been recognized for his charitable work, particularly his efforts in support of military families. Tom Poti remains a respected and admired figure in the world of hockey, both for his on-ice accomplishments and his commitment to improving the sport and making a difference in the lives of others.
