Tom Webster Autograph

Tom Webster was a professional ice hockey player who played as a right-winger for various teams in the National Hockey League (NHL) during the 1970s and 1980s. He began his NHL career with the Boston Bruins in 1970, where he spent his rookie season in the minor leagues. Webster later moved to the Chicago Blackhawks, where he played from 1971 to 1973. Webster had his best years when he played for the Atlanta Flames. During his five seasons with the team, he posted his career-best numbers, scoring 163 goals and 197 assists in 333 career games. Webster was named to the NHL All-Star team during the 1977-78 season, and he was a finalist for the Lady Byng Trophy. In 1979, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Penguins, where he played for one season before retiring from professional hockey at the age of 32.

After his playing days, Webster became a head coach in the NHL. He coached five teams during his career, including the Los Angeles Kings, New York Rangers, and Florida Panthers. Webster was known for his unique style of coaching and his ability to motivate his players. Despite facing health issues in his later years, Tom Webster remained a respected member of the hockey community until his death in April 2020.
