Torey Krug Autographs
Torey Krug is an American professional ice hockey player who currently plays for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on April 12, 1991, in Livonia, Michigan, Krug played his college hockey at Michigan State University. Before that, he had previously played with the Indiana Ice in the United States Hockey League (USHL).
Krug's professional hockey career began in the Boston Bruins organization, where he spent most of his early years. In the 2011-12 season, he signed an amateur tryout contract with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League (AHL) and played 2 games for them. He was then signed by the Boston Bruins as an undrafted free agent in March 2012, and made his NHL debut on April 3, 2012, against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Krug quickly made an impact in the league, particularly in the playoffs. During the Bruins' run to the Stanley Cup in 2013, he scored four goals and notched two assists in 15 games, setting a Bruins record for goals by a rookie defenseman in a single postseason.
In October 2020, Krug signed a seven-year, $45.5 million contract with the St. Louis Blues. He continues to be one of the league's top defensemen, and has represented the United States in several international tournaments, including the 2018 Winter Olympics. Throughout his career, Krug has been known as a skilled offensive defenseman, with a great ability to move the puck and contribute on offense while still holding his own defensively. His tenacity and work ethic have made him a fan favorite and a valuable asset for any team he has played for.
