Yanni Gourde Autographs
Yanni Gourde is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who currently serves as a forward for the Tampa Bay Lightning in the National Hockey League (NHL). Born on December 15, 1991, in Saint-Narcisse, Quebec, Gourde grew up playing hockey and eventually joined the Victoriaville Tigres of the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League (QMJHL) in 2007. During his tenure with the Tigres, Gourde demonstrated his exceptional skills and resilience on the ice, and eventually attracted the attention of several NHL teams, including the San Jose Sharks and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Despite his talent, Gourde remained undrafted by any NHL team for several years; however, this didn't discourage him from pursuing his dream. In 2014, Gourde signed a contract with the Worcester Sharks of the American Hockey League (AHL) and made his professional debut in a game against the Manchester Monarchs. While playing with the Sharks, Gourde quickly established himself as a top scorer and was eventually signed to a contract by the Lightning in 2015. Since joining the Lightning, he has recorded impressive performances and helped his team reach the Stanley Cup Finals twice in 2018 and 2020.
Gourde's success on the ice can be attributed to his exceptional work ethic, versatility, and adaptability. He is known for his speed, agility, and scoring prowess, as well as his ability to play multiple positions effectively. Gourde's contributions to the Lightning have earned him several accolades, including the AHL All-Star Game MVP award and the Lady Byng Trophy for sportsmanship and excellence on the ice. In addition to his NHL career, Gourde has also represented Canada internationally and won a bronze medal at the IIHF World Junior Championships in 2011.
