Mike Quinn Autographs
Mike Quinn is a British actor, puppeteer, and animator with a career that spans over four decades in film and television. He was born on April 28, 1964, in Bristol, England, and grew up in Canada. Quinn became interested in puppetry at the age of 13, which led to him being hired by Jim Henson's Muppet Workshop in the 1980s.
Quinn's big break came when he was cast as Nien Nunb in the Star Wars: Return of the Jedi movie in 1983. He was responsible for bringing the character to life through puppetry and body movement. His performance as Nunb led to him being re-cast in the Star Wars sequel trilogy in 2015. Quinn's involvement in the Star Wars franchise also led to him working on the Muppets in Space movie and Puppet Up! series.
Aside from his Star Wars work, Quinn has also worked on several other movies, including Labyrinth, The Dark Crystal, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and Return to Oz. He has lent his puppeteering skills to other classic franchises such as Doctor Who, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and Fraggle Rock. Quinn worked behind the scenes as well, contributing to the animation and puppetry in the Harry Potter films. In 2019, he collaborated with David Bowie's son, Duncan, on the animation project Arlo the Alligator Boy, which premiered on Netflix.
