Sam Kinison Autographs
Sam Kinison was an American comedian and actor, born on December 8, 1953, in Yakima, Washington. He began his career as a Pentecostal preacher, delivering fiery sermons that eventually became a part of his comedic act. He started his stand-up comedy career in Houston, Texas, and soon found himself performing in comedy clubs across the country. Kinison's style of comedy was controversial, he was not afraid to tackle taboo subjects such as sex, drugs, and religion, and often used explicit language in his routines.
One of Kinison's biggest breaks came in 1985 when he appeared on HBO's "Young Comedians Special." The show introduced Kinison to a wider audience and established him as a rising star in the comedy world. His popularity grew, and he soon became a regular on "Late Night with David Letterman" and "The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson." In 1988, Kinison released his first comedy album, "Louder Than Hell," which went platinum and earned him a Grammy nomination. He then went on to release several other successful comedy albums and starred in his HBO specials.
Sadly, Kinison's life was cut short on April 10, 1992. He died at the age of 38 in a car accident caused by a drunk driver. Kinison was a unique and influential comedian who pushed boundaries and paved the way for many comedians who followed in his footsteps. His impact on the comedy world can still be felt today, and his dedication to his craft and fearless approach to comedy will forever be remembered.
