Hank Williams Jr. Autograph

Hank Williams Jr. was born on May 26, 1949, in Shreveport, Louisiana. As the son of one of country music's most iconic and controversial figures, Hank Williams Sr., Hank Jr. was destined to leave his mark on the music world. He first started in music at a young age, playing the guitar and singing songs with his father. Unfortunately, his father died when he was just eight years old, and he was forced to continue on his own. After years of playing in small bars and honky-tonks, Hank Jr. landed his breakthrough hit in 1979 with "Family Tradition"—a song that would become his anthem, as well as a classic of modern country music.
