Warren Morris Autographs
Warren Morris was born on January 11, 1974, in Alexandria, Louisiana. He grew up in a family that valued baseball and Morris started to develop his love for the sport from a young age. After graduating from high school, he attended Louisiana State University where he became one of the greatest players in the history of the LSU Baseball Program.
Morris was best known for his incredible hit in the 1996 NCAA College World Series championship game that gave LSU the championship. He hit a two-out, two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth inning against Miami in the championship game, even though he had a wrist injury. This was a defining moment of Morris' career and helped him to become a household name in the sport of baseball. After his impressive performance, Morris was named the most outstanding player of the tournament.
After his college career, Morris went on to play in the Major Leagues for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Minnesota Twins, and Detroit Tigers. He played as a second baseman and had a successful career as a utility player. Morris' professional career was not as remarkable as his college performance, but his ability to play multiple positions made him a valuable asset to his teams. Warren Morris retired from professional baseball in 2004 and continues to be a beloved figure in the world of college baseball.
