Elliott competed in over 800 races in his career, winning 44 Cup Series races, including the famed Daytona 500 twice (in 1985 and 1987) and the Southern 500 three times (1985, 1988, and 1994). He set numerous speed and track records and won the 1988 Cup Series Championship, cementing his place as one of the greatest drivers of his era.

Elliott retired from full-time racing in 2003 but remained involved in the sport, serving as a team owner and driver mentor. He was inducted into the NASCAR Hall of Fame in 2015 and continues to be a revered figure in the racing community. With an impressive racing career built on skill, determination, and speed, Bill Elliott’s legacy continues to inspire the next generation of NASCAR drivers.
