Eric Jones is a professional racing driver from Byron, Michigan, who has made a name for himself in the NASCAR racing circuit. He was born on May 30, 1996, and began his racing career in 2010 in the Pro Late Model division. Eric's talent and hard work soon paid off, and he quickly climbed the ranks of the racing world, finally landing a spot with the Joe Gibbs Racing team in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.
Jones made his Xfinity Series debut in 2015, driving the No. 20 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing. He finished his rookie season with three pole positions, a win at Chicagoland Speedway, and seven top-5 finishes. Jones' impressive performance led him to be named the 2015 NASCAR Xfinity Series Rookie of the Year. He continued to impress in the years that followed, winning two more Xfinity Series races in 2016 and finishing fourth in the championship standings.
In 2017, Jones moved up to the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series, joining Furniture Row Racing as the driver of the No. 77 Toyota. In his first season, he earned one win, five top-5 finishes, and 14 top-10 finishes, finishing 19th in the championship standings. After one season with Furniture Row Racing, Jones returned to Joe Gibbs Racing in 2018, driving the No. 20 Toyota in the Cup Series. He has continued to be a consistent contender, earning two more Cup Series wins and 43 top-10 finishes in the past three seasons. Eric Jones continues to be a rising star in the NASCAR world, and fans can't wait to see what the future holds for this talented driver.
