Steve Cauthen Autographs

Steve Cauthen is a former American jockey who is regarded as one of the greatest riders of all time. He was born on May 1, 1960, in Walton, Kentucky, and began riding horses when he was just 8 years old. In his teens, he started racing professionally and quickly became a rising star in the sport.
Cauthen's racing career truly took off when he was just 18 years old. In 1978, he became the youngest jockey ever to win the Triple Crown, riding the famous racehorse Affirmed to victories in the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes, and Belmont Stakes. Cauthen's success made him a household name and a hero in the world of horse racing. He went on to have a successful career, winning races all over the world and setting numerous records along the way.
In addition to his incredible racing career, Cauthen has also been recognized for his contributions to the sport. He was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1994 and was named one of the Top 100 U.S. Athletes of the 20th Century by ESPN. Despite retiring from racing in 1992, Cauthen's legacy lives on, and he remains a beloved figure in the horse racing community.
