Alan Mullery Autographs
Alan Mullery is a former English professional footballer who was born on November 23, 1941, in Notting Hill, London. He began his career as an apprentice with Fulham and went on to make over 200 appearances for the club in two spells. Mullery's first stint at Fulham lasted from 1958 to 1964, during which he played as a forward. His talent was recognized by Tottenham Hotspur, who bought him for a fee of £72,500 in 1964.
After moving to Tottenham Hotspur, Mullery became a midfielder and was an integral part of the team that won the FA Cup in 1967. He played a pivotal role in the final against Chelsea, which Tottenham won 2-1. Mullery spent a total of eight years at Tottenham, making 313 appearances for the club and scoring 51 goals. He also played for England national football team from 1964 to 1971, earning a total of 35 caps. Mullery played in the 1970 FIFA World Cup, where he scored a goal against Czechoslovakia.
After retiring from playing football, Mullery became a football coach and manager. He managed several clubs, including Charlton Athletic, Crystal Palace, Brighton & Hove Albion, and QPR. Mullery was also an expert football commentator and analyst on television. He received several honors for his contribution to football, including being inducted into the Tottenham Hotspur Hall of Fame in 2009. Alan Mullery is widely regarded as one of the greatest footballers to have played for Tottenham Hotspur and is a well-respected figure in the football world.
