Chris Sutton Autographs

Chris Sutton is a retired English professional footballer who is most notable for his performance as a striker in the Premier League. He was born on March 10, 1973, in Nottingham, England, and began his career with Norwich City in 1991, where he scored his first goal against Chelsea. His impressive scoring skills attracted the attention of bigger clubs, and in 1994, he signed for Blackburn Rovers, where he helped them win their first league title in 81 years.
After a successful spell at Blackburn Rovers, Sutton transferred to Chelsea for a British transfer record fee of £10 million. He struggled for form in his first season before moving to Celtic in 2000. At Celtic, the striker rediscovered his form, forming a dynamic partnership with Henrik Larsson and scoring 63 goals in 130 appearances. Sutton helped Celtic to win three Scottish Premier League titles, two Scottish League Cups and reach the final of the UEFA Cup in 2003.
Sutton's international career for England was relatively short-lived, earning only one cap, but his domestic career was filled with accolades. He retired from professional football in 2007, after brief spells with a number of clubs including Aston Villa and Birmingham City. Sutton scored a total of 218 goals in his career, cementing his place as a Premier League legend, and his physical presence and strike rate will always be remembered by football fans.
