Christen Press Autographs
Christen Press is an American soccer player who was born on December 29, 1988, in Los Angeles, California. She started playing soccer when she was just five years old, and by the time she attended Stanfor University, she was already a standout player. Press played for Stanford University from 2007-2010, where she was a two-time Pac-10 Player of the Year, a two-time NSCAA First-Team All-American, and the Hermann Trophy winner in 2010.
After college, Press began her professional soccer career with magicJack in 2011. The following year, Press was traded to the Western New York Flash, where she won the 2012 WPS Championship. In 2013, Press signed with Tyresö FF in Sweden, where she won the Damallsvenskan and was named the Damallsvenskan Forward of the Year. Press returned to the NWSL in 2014, playing for the Chicago Red Stars before moving to the Houston Dash and then Utah Royals FC.
Press is perhaps best known for her play on the United States Women's National Team (USWNT). She made her debut for the USWNT in February 2013 during the Algarve Cup and has since earned over 100 caps. Press was part of the USWNT's 2015 Women's World Cup-winning team and has also won two Olympic gold medals with the team. As of 2021, Press is still playing professionally and representing the USWNT, proving herself as one of the most accomplished players in women's soccer history.
