Daniel Sturridge Autographs
Daniel Andre Sturridge is an English professional footballer who was born on September 1, 1989, in Birmingham, England. He started his soccer career as a youth player for Aston Villa and Coventry City before signing for Manchester City at the age of 13. After failing to make a mark for City, he moved to Chelsea in 2009, winning the Premier League and the FA Cup in his first season.
Sturridge's breakthrough season came in 2013/2014 when he signed for Liverpool. He scored 21 goals in the league that season, finishing second in the Golden Boot standings behind Luis Suarez as Liverpool finished runners-up. Sturridge's pace, technical ability, and finishing skills were crucial for Liverpool's title charge. He formed a lethal partnership with Suarez and was instrumental in Liverpool's 5-1 thrashing of Arsenal at Anfield.
Injuries curtailed Sturridge's Liverpool career, but he enjoyed brief spells at West Bromwich Albion and Trabzonspor before signing for Melbourne City, an Australian club. The striker, who has earned 26 caps for England, has been praised for his work-rate, dribbling skills, and the ability to score from outside the box, making him one of the most talented English strikers of his generation.
