Geoff Cameron Autographs
Geoff Cameron was born in Attleboro, Massachusetts on July 11, 1985. He started playing soccer at a young age and his talent quickly became evident. He played for the local club team, Bayside United, before moving on to college soccer at West Virginia University. Cameron had a standout career at WVU, earning All-American honors in his senior year.
After college, Cameron was drafted by the Houston Dynamo in the third round of the 2008 MLS SuperDraft. He quickly established himself as a leader on the team and was named the Dynamo's Defender of the Year in 2009 and 2011. Cameron's strong performances in the MLS caught the eye of English Premier League club Stoke City, who signed him in the summer of 2012. He played for Stoke City for six seasons, making 186 appearances and helping the team maintain their spot in the Premier League. In 2018, Cameron signed a two-year deal with Queens Park Rangers, where he continues to play today.
Cameron has also represented the United States Men's National Team, earning his first call-up in 2010. He played in the 2014 World Cup, helping the USMNT reach the Round of 16. Overall, Cameron has made 55 appearances for the national team and is known for his versatility, as he can play both as a center-back and as a defensive midfielder. Throughout his career, Cameron has shown his skill and determination on the field, becoming a respected and accomplished soccer player.
