Nacho Monreal is a Spanish professional soccer player, born on February 26, 1986, in Pamplona, Spain. He began his soccer career with his hometown club Osasuna's youth system, making his debut for the senior team in 2006. He quickly established himself as one of Osasuna's key players in his five-year stint, making a total of 127 appearances and scoring six goals before moving to Malaga CF in 2011. Monreal's excellent performances with Malaga caught the attention of Arsenal, who signed him in January 2013.
Monreal enjoyed a successful six-and-a-half-year spell with Arsenal, making 251 appearances and scoring 10 goals. He established himself as one of the best left-backs in the English Premier League, known for his solid defensive performances and attacking contributions.
