Paul Merson Autographs
Paul Merson is a retired English professional soccer player who spent the majority of his career playing for Arsenal F.C. Born in Harlesden, London on March 20, 1968, Merson joined Arsenal’s youth academy at just 15 years old. He made his debut in 1986 and quickly became a central figure in the team, helping them win the First Division title in the 1988-1989 season.
Throughout his career, Merson played as an attacking midfielder and was known for his technical ability and goal-scoring prowess. He spent 12 years at Arsenal, making over 400 appearances and scoring 102 goals. During his time at the club, he won two First Division titles, one FA Cup, and one European Cup Winners' Cup. He also earned 21 international caps for England, scoring three goals.
After leaving Arsenal, Merson went on to play for a number of other professional soccer clubs including Middlesbrough, Aston Villa, and Portsmouth. In 2004, he retired from professional soccer at the age of 36 and began a career as a soccer pundit and commentator. Merson has since made regular appearances on Sky Sports, providing analysis and commentary on Premier League games. Despite his outspoken nature, he remains a respected figure in English soccer and is revered by Arsenal fans for his contributions to the club’s success.
