Teddy Sheringham is an English former professional footballer who was born on April 2, 1966, in Highams Park, London. He began his football career at the age of 16 when he joined Millwall FC’s youth team. After impressing in the youth team, he was promoted to the first team squad in 1984. In 1991, he moved to Nottingham Forest where he spent two seasons before signing for Tottenham Hotspur in 1992. He achieved immense success at Tottenham, winning the PFA Player of the Year award in the 1993-94 season, and scoring 124 goals in 277 appearances in all competitions. More about Teddy Sheringham

Following his time at Manchester United, Sheringham played for various clubs in England, including Tottenham, Portsmouth, West Ham United, Colchester United, and Stevenage FC. He also represented the England national team on 51 occasions, scoring 11 goals in the process. Sheringham’s contribution to English football was recognized in 2020 when he was inducted into the English Football Hall of Fame.
