Johnson Space Center's Earth Observations Program. He has also authored a number of scientific publications and co-edited the book "Living and Working in Space: A History of Skylab" with former astronaut William Pogue. Gibson's contributions to space exploration have been recognized with numerous awards, including the NASA Distinguished Service Medal, the Robert J.
