George Nelson Autographs
George Nelson is an exceptional astronaut, engineer, and artist who made significant contributions to space exploration. He earned his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in aeronautical engineering, and after graduation, he joined the United States Air Force. During his service, he participated in designing reconnaissance and strategic missile systems. George Nelson joined the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) in 1978 as a mission specialist, and he worked on four missions in space, including the Challenger in 1986.

He became a leading expert on EVA, Extra-Vehicular Activity, and later became the program manager for EVA technology development, which defined the equipment and protocols used by astronauts for spacewalks.
George Nelson is not only an exceptional engineer and scientist but also an artist. He designed an award-winning series of clocks, including the "Ball Clock," "Bubble Lamp," and the "Marshmallow Sofa." His designs were iconic and have become celebrated pieces of mid-century modern design.
