Michael Dorn Autographs
Michael Dorn is an American actor best known for his role as Lieutenant Commander Worf in the Star Trek franchise. Born in Luling, Texas in 1952, Dorn began his acting career in the late 1970s with small roles in films and television shows. His big break came in 1987 when he was cast as Worf in Star Trek: The Next Generation, a role he would play for seven seasons and four feature films.
Dorn's portrayal of Worf, the first Klingon main character in Star Trek, quickly became a fan favorite. After The Next Generation ended in 1994, Dorn joined the cast of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, appearing as a regular for its final four seasons. His involvement in the franchise spanned over 15 years, making him the actor with the most appearances in Star Trek history, totaling 282 episodes across different series and five feature films.
Beyond Star Trek, Dorn has had a prolific television career. He had a recurring role as Dr. Carver Burke on the police procedural Castle from 2011 to 2015. Dorn has also lent his distinctive voice to numerous animated series, including Gargoyles, I Am Weasel, and various Star Trek video games. In 2023, he reprised his role as Worf in the third and final season of Star Trek: Picard, delighting long-time fans with his return to the beloved character.
