Michal Neuvirth is a Czech former professional ice hockey goaltender who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for ten seasons. He was born on March 23, 1988 in Usti nad Labem, Czechoslovakia. Neuvirth began his hockey career in his native country before moving to North America to pursue his dream of playing in the NHL. He was drafted by the Washington Capitals in the second round of the 2006 NHL Entry Draft and made his debut for the team in the 2008-2009 season. More about Michal Neuvirth

Neuvirth played for the Washington Capitals for six seasons before being traded to the Buffalo Sabres in March of 2014. He spent a year in Buffalo before signing with the Philadelphia Flyers in 2015. Neuvirth played for the Flyers for four seasons, but his tenure with the team was plagued by injuries. Despite this, he played a crucial role in the Flyers' playoff run in the 2015-2016 season.
