Aaron Harang Autographs
Aaron Harang is a retired American professional baseball pitcher who spent 14 seasons playing in Major League Baseball (MLB). Harang was born on May 9, 1978, in San Diego, California, and attended San Diego State University, where he played for the Aztecs. He was drafted in the sixth round of the 1999 MLB Draft by the Texas Rangers but was traded to the Oakland Athletics in 2002, where he made his MLB debut.
Harang played for eight different MLB teams throughout his career, including the Athletics, Cincinnati Reds, San Diego Padres, Los Angeles Dodgers, Seattle Mariners, New York Mets, Philadelphia Phillies, and Atlanta Braves. He was known for his consistent performance as a starting pitcher, often recording double-digit win totals and posting strong numbers in strikeouts and earned run average (ERA). In 2006, Harang was selected to the National League All-Star team and finished the season with 16 wins and a 3.76 ERA.
Harang retired from baseball in 2016, finishing his career with a 128-143 record, a 4.26 ERA, and over 2,000 strikeouts. He is remembered for his durability on the mound, regularly pitching over 200 innings per season and leading his teams in starts and innings pitched. Harang's dedication to the sport and his team-first mentality endeared him to fans and teammates alike, and he remains a respected figure in the world of professional baseball.
