Angel Pagan Autograph

Angel Pagan is a Puerto Rican former professional baseball outfielder who played for several teams in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on July 2, 1981, in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico. Pagan attended Indian Hills Community College in Iowa, where he played college baseball for two seasons until he was drafted by the New York Mets in the fourth round of the 1999 MLB Draft. Pagan made his MLB debut in 2006 with the Cubs, but he played only 12 games for them that season, batting .167 with one RBI. The following year, he was traded to the Mets, where he played five seasons from 2008 to 2011. During his time with the Mets, Pagan became a fan favorite for his impressive outfield skills, speed on the basepaths, and clutch hitting. He was also named the team's best defensive player in 2009 and 2010. In 2012, Pagan was traded to the San Francisco Giants, where he played for four seasons, including their World Series championship in 2012. He retired after the 2016 season, finishing his career with a .280 batting average, 180 stolen bases, and 64 home runs.

Aside from his MLB career, Pagan represented Puerto Rico in several international baseball tournaments, such as the 2006 World Baseball Classic and the 2013 World Baseball Classic, where he helped lead his country to second place. Pagan was known for his versatility in the outfield and his ability to hit for average, steal bases, and play solid defense.
