Chad Tracy Autographs
Chad Tracy is a former professional baseball player who made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut in 2004, playing for the Arizona Diamondbacks. He was born on May 22, 1980, in Charlotte, North Carolina. Tracy was an excellent baseball player during his high school years and earned a baseball scholarship to attend East Carolina University. He played baseball for the university from 1999-2001, where he set several records and was named the Conference USA player of the year in 2001.
Tracy was drafted by the Diamondbacks in the seventh round of the 2001 MLB draft. He played in the minor leagues for three years before finally making it to the major leagues. In his rookie season, Tracy impressed the management with his solid performance, particularly his batting average, which was .308, earning him a spot in the Topps All-Star Rookie Team. Tracy played for the Diamondbacks for seven seasons, and in 2008, he hit a career-best 20 home runs. He was a key player for the Diamondbacks, and his consistent performance on the field earned him the nickname "the Rattler" among fans.
Tracy went on to play for other teams, including the Chicago Cubs and the Washington Nationals, before retiring from baseball in 2013. During his career, Tracy played in over 900 games, hitting 86 home runs and driving in 385 runs. He was known for his versatility on the field, as he could play both third base and first base. Tracy was also respected for his work ethic and leadership qualities, and he was a fan favorite wherever he played. Today, he works as an analyst for the MLB Network, and his contributions to baseball will always be remembered.
