After graduating high school, Bichette was selected by the Milwaukee Brewers in the 17th round of the 1984 MLB Draft. He spent four seasons in the minor leagues, honing his skills and working his way up to the big league. He made his MLB debut with the Brewers in 1988 and quickly established himself as a power-hitter. In 1993, Bichette joined the expansion team Colorado Rockies, and he spent four seasons with the team. During his time with the Rockies, he earned three All-Star selections, won a Silver Slugger award, and led the league in slugging percentage in 1995. He finished his 14-year MLB career with a .299 batting average, 274 home runs, and 1,141 RBI.

Off the field, Bichette is deeply involved in his philanthropic work. He founded The Bichette Brothers Baseball Academy in Orlando, Florida, where he teaches young players the fundamentals of the sport. He is also actively involved in various charitable organizations, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. Bichette's passion for baseball, his impressive career, and his commitment to giving back to the community have earned him a place in the hearts of fans and fellow players alike.
