David Aardsma is a former professional baseball pitcher who played for six different teams throughout his twelve-year career in Major League Baseball (MLB). He was born on December 27, 1981, in Denver, Colorado, and attended Pennsbury High School in Pennsylvania. After being drafted in the first round by the San Francisco Giants in 2003, Aardsma quickly rose through the minor leagues and made his MLB debut in 2004. He spent the next several years playing for various teams, including the Chicago Cubs, Chicago White Sox, Boston Red Sox, Seattle Mariners, New York Yankees, and finally, the Atlanta Braves in 2015.
