David Justice Autographs
David Justice is a former Major League Baseball outfielder and designated hitter who played from 1989 to 2002. Born in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1966, Justice was raised in Forest Park, a suburb of Cincinnati. He attended Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, where he played college baseball for the Thomas More Saints. In 1985, he was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the fourth round of the Major League Baseball draft.
Justice made his Major League debut with the Braves in 1989 and quickly made a name for himself as a power hitter. He helped lead the Braves to a World Series championship in 1995 and won the National League Championship Series MVP award that year. In his career, Justice was a three-time All-Star and won two Silver Slugger awards. He also played for the Cleveland Indians, New York Yankees, Oakland Athletics, and the New York Mets before retiring in 2002. Justice finished his career with a .279 batting average, 305 home runs, and 1,017 runs batted in.
Off the field, Justice has been involved in a number of charitable causes. He created the David Justice Foundation to help children who are victims of abuse and neglect. He has also served as an ambassador for the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, helping to promote education, sports, and positive values in children. Today, Justice continues to be involved in sports as a commentator and analyst for the MLB Network. His legacy as a powerful and dynamic player on the field and a compassionate advocate off the field has made him a beloved figure in the world of baseball.
