Jeff Conine Autographs

Jeff ConineJeff Conine, nicknamed "Mr. Marlin," was a former American professional baseball player, born on June 27, 1966, in Tacoma, Washington. He was primarily an outfielder and first baseman who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) from 1990 to 2007. Conine was selected in the 58th round of the 1987 MLB draft by the Kansas City Royals, but he did not sign with them. Instead, he signed with the Miami Miracle in the short-season Class A, which launched his professional baseball career.
In 1993, Jeff Conine was a significant part of the inaugural Florida Marlins team, where he played both first base and left field. He played for the Marlins from 1993 to 1997 and again from 2003 to 2005. Conine was part of the 1997 Marlins team that won the World Series, where he had a .280 batting average and six doubles in 23 post-season games. He later played for several other teams, including the Baltimore Orioles, Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds, and New York Mets, before returning to Miami in 2007 to retire as a Marlin.
Throughout his 17-year baseball career, Jeff Conine was known for his versatility, durability, and leadership on and off the field. He was a two-time All-Star (1994 and 1995) and won two World Series championships in 1997 and 2003. Conine had a career .285 batting average with 214 home runs, 1075 runs batted in, and 1509 hits in 2024 games played. He is also remembered for his philanthropic work and community service, particularly through his Conine Clubhouse, which provides temporary housing for families of children undergoing treatment for serious illnesses.
