After a few seasons in the minor leagues, Soler made his MLB debut with the Cubs in August 2014. He played 89 games that season and helped the Cubs make the postseason for the first time since 2008. Soler had a solid rookie season, hitting .292/.330/.573 with 10 home runs and 47 RBIs. However, injuries limited his playing time in the next few seasons, and he was eventually traded to the Kansas City Royals in December 2016.

Since joining the Royals, Soler has become a major force in their lineup. He had a breakout season in 2019, hitting 48 home runs and leading the American League in home runs and RBIs. He was named to the All-Star team that season and finished 9th in the AL MVP voting. Soler is known for his tremendous power at the plate and his strong arm in the outfield. With several years of baseball still ahead of him, Soler is poised to continue his successful career in MLB. Read even more about Jorge Soler at Wikipedia
