Jose Tabata is a former professional baseball player from Venezuela. Born on August 12, 1988, in Anzoategui, Tabata started his baseball career at the age of 16 when he signed a contract with the New York Yankees. He played in the minor leagues for several years before making his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut on June 9, 2010. Tabata played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, the team where he spent most of his MLB career.
