Clint Hurdle Autographs

Clint HurdleClint Hurdle is a former baseball player and manager, and a respected figure in the world of baseball. He was born on July 30th, 1957, in Big Rapids, Michigan. Hurdle had a highly successful career as a player before turning to coaching and managing. He was drafted by the Kansas City Royals in 1975, and made his professional debut in 1977. Over his 10-year career, Hurdle played for multiple teams and was known for his strong work ethic and excellent fielding skills.
After retiring as a player, Hurdle made a successful transition into coaching and managing. He started his career in coaching in the Colorado Rockies organization and was eventually named the team's manager in 2002. Hurdle proved to be a highly successful manager for the Rockies, helping the team reach the World Series for the first time in 2007. Under Hurdle’s leadership, the Rockies also made it to the playoffs in 2009. Hurdle received the National League Manager of the Year award in 2013 while managing the Pittsburgh Pirates, becoming only the fourth manager in Pirates history to receive the honor.
Throughout his career, Hurdle has been known for his passion for the game of baseball and his dedication to his players. He is highly respected by his peers and former teammates alike. Hurdle is also known for his charitable work and contributions to various causes, including cancer research and education.
