Lucas Duda was born on February 3, 1986, in Fontana, California. He is an American professional baseball player who has played in the Major League Baseball (MLB). Lucas Duda went to Arlington High School where he played as a first baseman on the school’s baseball team. He went on to attend the University of Southern California, where he played college baseball for two years.
Lucas Duda was drafted by the New York Mets in the seventh round of the 2007 Major League Baseball draft. He made his Major League debut with the Mets in September 2010. During his career, Duda has played for other teams including the Tampa Bay Rays, Kansas City Royals, Atlanta Braves, and the Washington Nationals. Duda has been recognized for his exceptional skills on the field, including winning a Silver Slugger Award in 2008.
Overall, Lucas Duda has had a successful baseball career so far. In his nine-year career in the Major League, he has accumulated a batting average of .243, hit 157 home runs, and 475 runs batted in (RBI).
