Martin Prado Autographs
Martin Prado is a former professional baseball player who was born on October 27, 1983, in Maracay, Venezuela. He started his professional baseball career in 2001 when he signed with the Atlanta Braves as a free agent. Prado played several positions throughout his career, including second base, third base, and outfield. He was known for his versatility and solid defensive skills.
Prado played in the Major Leagues for 14 seasons, beginning with the Braves from 2006 to 2012. In 2013, he was traded to the Arizona Diamondbacks, where he played for three seasons before being traded to the Miami Marlins in 2015. Prado played for the Marlins until his retirement in 2019, finishing his career with a .287 batting average, 100 home runs, and 609 runs batted in. Throughout his career, Prado was known as a clutch hitter and a reliable player on defense.
Prado was a two-time All-Star, receiving the honor first in 2010 and again in 2016. He was also the recipient of the National League Silver Slugger award in 2010 and the Heart and Hustle award in 2013. After his retirement, Prado continued to stay involved in baseball as a coach, dedicating his time to helping young players develop their skills and learn the game.
