Michael Pineda made his Major League Baseball debut with the Seattle Mariners in 2011. He quickly established himself as one of the promising young pitchers in the league. In his rookie year, he recorded a 9-10 record with a 3.74 ERA and 173 strikeouts in 171 innings pitched. In 2012, Pineda was traded to the New York Yankees, where he continued to impress on the field. However, he missed the entire 2012 and 2013 seasons due to injury. Despite this setback, he returned in 2014, stronger and healthier than ever, and continued to rack up impressive statistics as a prominent member of the Yankees' pitching rotation.

After seven seasons in Major League Baseball, Michael Pineda signed a two-year contract with the Minnesota Twins in 2017. While his time with the Twins was beset by inconsistency and injuries, Pineda continued to showcase his talent and potential as a valuable addition to any team. In 2021, Pineda signed a two-year contract extension with the Twins, ensuring that his baseball career will continue for several more years. Throughout his career, Michael Pineda has demonstrated an unwavering commitment to excellence, both on and off the field, and has earned a well-deserved reputation as one of the most talented pitchers in the game.
