Pat Neshek Autographs
Pat Neshek is a veteran baseball pitcher who has played in the Major Leagues for over a decade. Born on September 4, 1980, in Madison, Wisconsin, Neshek was a standout athlete in high school, excelling in both baseball and basketball. In 1999, he was named Wisconsin High School Player of the Year, and went on to play college baseball at Butler University. Despite being drafted by the Minnesota Twins in the sixth round of the 2002 MLB draft, Neshek continued his education and earned a degree in finance before making his debut in the big leagues.
Neshek first landed a spot in the bullpen with the Minnesota Twins in 2006, quickly becoming a fan favorite with his unique sidearm delivery and exceptional control. He was the winning pitcher at the 2007 Major League Baseball All-Star Game, and finished third in the American League Rookie of the Year voting that same year. Over the course of his career, Neshek has played for several teams including the Oakland Athletics, Houston Astros, Colorado Rockies, Philadelphia Phillies, and most recently, the San Diego Padres. He has been primarily used as a relief pitcher, and boasts an impressive ERA of 2.78 as of 2021.
Off the field, Neshek is known for his passion for collecting baseball cards, and even owns one of the largest collections in the world. He has been known to trade cards with fans and fellow athletes, and often spends his free time at card shows and conventions. Neshek also enjoys spending time with his family, and has been an advocate for awareness of the rare genetic disorder that his son, Gehrig, was born with. Despite facing setbacks and injuries throughout his career, Neshek has remained a beloved member of the baseball community, and continues to be lauded for his work ethic and dedication to the sport.
