Steve Kline Autographs

Steve KlineSteve Kline was born on August 22, 1972, in Sunbury, Pennsylvania. He grew up playing baseball, and he excelled at it from a young age. Kline attended West Virginia University, where he continued to play baseball, and he was eventually drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the eighth round of the 1993 Major League Baseball draft.
Kline made his Major League Baseball debut with the Indians in 1997, but he didn't become a regular starter until he joined the Montreal Expos in 1999. It was during this time that Kline became known for his reliable and consistent pitching style. He played for several other teams over the course of his career, including the St. Louis Cardinals, the Baltimore Orioles, and the San Francisco Giants. In 2006, he helped the Cardinals win the World Series.
Throughout his career, Kline was known for his impressive control and his ability to get batters out. He was a left-handed pitcher and often used his signature sinker pitch to get groundouts. Kline retired from baseball in 2010 with a career ERA of 3.51 and a total of 397 strikeouts. Today, he remains involved in baseball as a coach and mentor to young pitchers.
