Travis Ishikawa is a former professional baseball player who played in the Major Leagues for ten seasons. He was born in Seattle, Washington in 1983, and spent his college years playing for the Oregon State University Beavers, where he was named an All-American in 2003. Ishikawa quickly established himself as a solid first baseman and outfielder, and he played for six different teams over the course of his career. He is perhaps best known for his performance during the 2014 postseason, when he hit a walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth inning of Game 5 of the NLCS, sending the Giants to the World Series.
