Tyler Clippard is a professional baseball player who was born on February 14, 1985, in Lexington, Kentucky. He played college baseball at the University of South Florida before being drafted by the New York Yankees in the ninth round of the 2003 MLB draft. Clippard made his debut with the Yankees in 2007 but was traded to the Washington Nationals in 2008 where he had a breakout season.
