Rafael Soriano Autographs
Rafael Soriano was born on December 19, 1979, in San José de los Llanos, Dominican Republic. He was a professional baseball pitcher, who played in the Major League Baseball (MLB) for 14 seasons. Soriano started his professional career in the MLB with the Seattle Mariners in 2002. He played for several other teams during his career, including the Atlanta Braves, Tampa Bay Rays, New York Yankees, Washington Nationals, and the Chicago Cubs.
Throughout his career, Soriano was known for his excellent control and his fastball velocity. In 2010, he led the American League in saves while playing for the Rays, and in 2012, he was named an All-Star while pitching for the Yankees. During his impressive career, Soriano posted an impressive 2.89 earned run average and recorded a total of 207 saves. He retired from baseball in 2015 at the age of 35.
Aside from his impressive career in baseball, Soriano was also known for his philanthropic activities. In 2013, he founded the Rafael Soriano Foundation, which aimed to improve the quality of life for the underprivileged children in his hometown of San José de los Llanos. His foundation has provided support for schools, libraries, and sports programs in the community where he grew up. Overall, Soriano's baseball career and philanthropic efforts have left a lasting impression on the baseball world and beyond.
