Bernard King Autographs
Bernard King is one of the most highly regarded basketball players in the history of the National Basketball Association. Born on December 4, 1956, in Brooklyn, New York, he attended the University of Tennessee and went on to have a highly successful professional career. In the 1977 NBA draft, he was selected by the New Jersey Nets as the seventh overall pick.
King began his professional basketball career with the Nets but quickly established himself as a formidable force in the league when he joined the New York Knicks in 1982. During his time with the Knicks, King became one of the most dominant offensive players in the NBA, averaging a stunning 26.5 points per game in the 1984-1985 season. That year, he led the league in scoring and was named to the All-NBA First Team. King’s incredible talents on the court earned him four All-Star selections and two NBA scoring titles.
King dealt with a series of injuries throughout his career, but he continued to put up impressive numbers and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2013. His scoring ability, perseverance, and tenacity on the court, combined with his work ethic and sportsmanship off the court, have made him a legend in the game of basketball. He remains an inspiration to young players today and a respected figure in the world of sports.
