Brandon Jennings Autographs
Brandon Jennings is an American former professional basketball player who is widely regarded as one of the most talented point guards of his generation. Born on September 23, 1989, in Compton, California, Jennings honed his basketball skills at Dominguez High School where he became a star player. After high school, he decided to forego college and instead opted to play professionally overseas. He spent a season in Italy with Lottomatica Roma, where he made a name for himself and earned a reputation as a top prospect for the NBA draft.
In 2009, Jennings was drafted 10th overall by the Milwaukee Bucks, where he spent the first four years of his NBA career. During his rookie season, he averaged 15.5 points, 5.7 assists, and 3.4 rebounds per game and finished second in the NBA Rookie of the Year voting. Jennings quickly established himself as the leader of the Bucks, and in just his second season, he led them to the playoffs for the first time in four years. Throughout his career, Jennings played for a number of other teams, including the Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic, New York Knicks, and Washington Wizards.
While Jennings had a solid basketball career, his statistics were somewhat modest. He averaged 14.1 points, 5.7 assists and 3 rebounds per game throughout his NBA career. What made Jennings stand out was his uncanny ability to find the open man and his lightning-quick first step that allowed him to blow past defenders and get to the basket. Despite retiring at the young age of 30, Jennings is remembered as a gifted and exciting player who contributed greatly to the sport of basketball.
