Jim Price is a former Major League Baseball player who was born on October 13, 1944, in Gloversville, NY. He was a catcher and a right-handed batter who played for four different teams in his ten-year career in Major League Baseball from 1967 to 1978. Price was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the eighth round of the 1965 Major League Baseball draft, and he made his Major League debut on September 11, 1967.
