B.J. Raji Autographs
B.J. Raji is a former American football defensive tackle who played in the National Football League (NFL) for seven seasons. Raji was born in New Jersey in 1986 and played high school football in Westwood. He was an All-State selection as a senior and went on to play college football at Boston College. Raji was a dominant force at Boston College, where he played both defensive tackle and fullback.
In the 2009 NFL Draft, the Green Bay Packers selected Raji with the ninth overall pick. He quickly became a key player for the Packers, starting all 16 games as a rookie and helping the team to win Super Bowl XLV in his second season. Raji's performance in the Super Bowl was particularly impressive, as he intercepted a pass from Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and returned it for a touchdown, becoming the first defensive lineman in Super Bowl history to score a touchdown.
Throughout his career, Raji was known for his powerful play and his ability to disrupt offensive schemes. He earned Pro Bowl honors in 2011 and was a key player for the Packers for six seasons before announcing his retirement from the NFL in 2016. Despite his relatively short career, Raji left a lasting impact on the game of football and is widely regarded as one of the best defensive tackles of his generation.
