Ben Tate Autographs
Ben Tate was born on August 21, 1988, in Salisbury, Maryland. As a high school student at Stephen Decatur High School in Berlin, Maryland, he led his team to two consecutive state championships. Tate was a highly touted running back, and he was considered one of the best in his class. He enrolled at Auburn University and played for the Tigers from 2006-2009, where he rushed for 3,321 yards and 24 touchdowns.
Tate was drafted by the Houston Texans in the second round of the 2010 NFL Draft. He spent four seasons in Houston, where he played in 40 games, rushing for 1,992 yards and 10 touchdowns. In 2011, he rushed for his career-high 942 yards, despite missing three games due to injury. After his time with the Texans, Tate played for several teams, including the Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Arizona Cardinals.
Despite having a promising start to his NFL career, Tate battled injuries throughout most of his playing career, which ultimately led to his retirement in 2018. However, he will always be remembered as a talented running back who had a significant impact on the teams he played for. Tate's work ethic and dedication to his craft was an inspiration to many, and he remains a beloved figure in the football community.
